Constance Clare-Newman is a gem – a gentle, skilled and fun practitioner. Over a period of two months, she taught me essential Alexander techniques regarding my neck, head, back and knees (and that “monkey”!), and how these relate to my entire being. I incorporated her suggestions into my daily routines – while exercising, swimming, walking, sitting, and reaching throughout the day. As time went on, I learned that if I focused on a free neck and a lengthened spine, most every action seemed more relaxed and easier to do. The results: After eight weeks, the pains in my knees, back and neck had disappeared, and their stiff areas had greatly improved. My body is working much better, thanks to Constance and her dedication to Alexander Technique.
