Thank you for the excellent 5 week Self-Regulation and Resilience Practices class. It left me feeling much calmer overall and with many techniques to use to calm myself down when I'm stressing or feeling anxious about anything from covid to the climate crisis to difficult personal or work-related interactions. Although many of the practices were informed by the Alexander Technique, I didn't feel that I needed to know about it (even though I do) in order to follow everything and benefit from the class. You gave enough information to be practical and invite further exploration if interested. It also didn't seem superfluous to me as someone who has studied the Alexander Technique, but rather deepened my understanding of practical ways to apply lessons from Alexander Technique to stressful life situations. I also really appreciated how you set the tone for the class and interactions among participants, and the weekly class summary emails with handouts and links to review material covered or learn more. I look forward to taking additional classes with you in the future, and will recommend this class to friends.
