Sara Schneckloth, Artist and Art Professor

I continue to find abundant connections between Alexander Technique and an embodied studio art practice. Over the past year, tension in my neck and shoulders was negatively impacting my daily drawing practice; working with Constance allows my body to find ease and flow of movement, an ease that translates into drawing with a light and dynamic mark.

Constance has the ability to precisely hone in on what would be the most helpful area of focus and every lesson has a direct and positive impact on how I work in the studio. Parallel to the physical benefits of AT, Constance brings focus to the importance of curiosity, play, and enhanced sensory awareness, all enhancing the art making process. I highly recommend her course for any artist looking to mindfully engage and connect their art practice to body and the senses.
